Bodega Estela Perinetti – Valle de Uco, Mendoza

In the 1990s, Estela uprooted the family vineyard, originally planted with Semillon by her grandfather, Dr. Hector Perinetti - the son of an Italian immigrant- in the early 1940s. This laid the foundation for her current success, as she replanted Finca Mangato with the red grape varieties Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah. For the next 20 years, she made a name for herself as the head winemaker at Bodegas Catena Zapata and Bodegas CARO. However, Finca Mangato has always been her passion project, to which she now dedicates herself full-time once again, reaping the well-deserved rewards. Her wines are simply enjoyable, their approachable nature appealing to every palate and encouraging another sip.
