There is hardly any better wine for a good piece of meat. Where other modern-style Malbecs, stuffed with biting fruit and too often also intensive oak-aging, seem to overwhelm the flavor of the fine beef, the Carrascal with its easiness and adaptabilty almost looks like a provocative alternative. A representative of the classical style, which does want to be anything else than a perfect companion.
