The black sheep of the family. Don Raúl didn’t know anything, when back in 2007 his nephews took a little more than 200 litres of the ready-made RD and put it into an oak barrel, in order to prove that an oak-aged wine shouldn’t be missed in the Tacuil portfolio. 

After 5 months Raúl finds the barrel, sends his nephews down to the city with an excuse to buy something (a 5 hour drive one way) and bottles the wine – it had sufficient oak-ageing he would claim later when the furious nephews came back. The wine stayed in the portfolio (albeit Raúl not happy about it) and so did the 5 months barrel-ageing – as a homage to its birth history.
